Dance World Cup - 2023

June 2023 we flew out to Portugal to represent Team England for the 3rd time. This time we took a Mini Large Acro Group - Pixar and our Mini Commercial Soloist - Amelie. Also our girl Esme was part of an acro group that competed out there too. We had the best week. We are proud of all the dancers who attended, some being the first time they have ever competed at this level.

Can You Dance - Master Class games 2022

Our first ever Masterclass games and what fun it was. Our mini/junior group took 2nd place against the other studios. Students took masterclasses and gold, silver and bronze medals were given out in each which went towards a scoreboard per school. We had such a great day and lots of lessons were taken. Best performing arts school 2022

Once again we have been lucky enough to have been nominated for an award at the National Entertainment Awards night. We performed out newest piece unstoppable and walked away with the 'Presenters choice award 2022'. We had an incredible time.

Junior CYD Champions 2019

March 2019 we attended the CYD convention in Essex & students took classes in all genres and had such a fantastic day. We entered the Junior and Senior competition sections & our Juniors were crowned Champions :) Congratulations

Dance World Cup - 2018

In 2018 student Joe Blackman took SDC to Spain and represented England in his lyrical solo. Taking 5th place in the world. Congratulations Joe.

Best performing arts school awards - 2013

In 2013 we were nominated for the Best performing arts school in the south east. We attended an awards ceremony where the students do to perform in front of a large audience. We were lucky enough to win the award on the evening.
